Applying a UV Map Texture to a UV Mapped Object in Bryce 3D

Variations of this tutorial can be found around the web, most deal with importing Poser figures.  However, I decide to include this as a companion piece to my UVMapping an Amorphium object tutorial.

First you will need an object that has UV mapped texture coordinates and a texture map.  One of the pock guys on my pokemon page will do.

I have included a large number of screen shots so please be patient.  Some of the screenshots have been thumbnailed.  Click on the picture to see a full screen view.

Highlight diffuse and ambient by selecting the circles in the first column.

This screen will appear, (actual texture will vary).  Select P to change it to a picture editor.  Now select the second sphere at the top.

This will bring up this screen.  Load your texture by selecting the Load at the upper left side of the screen.

Next select the black dot over the middle picture and choose delete.

The middle screen should be black.

The right screen should look like the left.

Exit using the check mark

That's it, I hope you find this useful.
