Terrains created in
Paint Shop Pro 5 using Photoshop Plugins

This tutorial is an extension of the ripples tutorial. It is to show more of the possibilities for using Photoshop plugins to create terrains.  In general the terrains were made by creating a new picture (512x512) in Paint Shop Pro 5.  Painted solid with a med. gray.  Then the plugin filter was applied to the image.  The image was then saved as a Photoshop file. (*.psd).   In Bryce a terrain or lattice was created.  Going into the terrain editor select new.  Switch to picture and load in the .psd file.  Then copy and paste the first picture box  into the next picture box and apply.

Please let me know if you are using the .zip files.  If so I may create more. Thanks, PE

This set uses Filter Factory 'V'   which you can find here.  ALL were created with the one titled Ringmaster just by varying the parameters!  I have the .psd files zipped so you can download, (1 MB), them and use in your own Bryce creations.  I would be interested in knowing how you use them.

This set uses Kang's plugins which you can find here.  I have the .psd files zipped so you can download, (1 MB), them and use in your own Bryce creations.  I would be interested in knowing how you use them.

Maybe the top of a new warp drive or decorative molding in your Bryce house!

This uses the 'june taylor microbes' filter.

Make an Art Deco sconce or create your own Death Star scene!

This one uses the 'penzilla' filter.  The image was inverted in the terrain editor.
